34th St. Herald Square

The 1970’s called and they LOVE your pants.

This groovy New Yorker is rocking a head to toe vintage look with pieces dating back to the seventies. Bell bottoms are have been returning to the shelves of mainstream stores like Zara and H&M over the past year, but consider yourself lucky if you find an authentic pair.

If you’re down to try a retro style, bell bottoms are a great way to accentuate your curves. Tuck in a bright sweater or tie a vintage tee at the waist to maintain the hourglass illusion. ┬áMake your outfit flow from top to bottom by layering with an oversized cape coat, as seen here. Don’t forget to wear a heeled bootie to elongate your legs and avoid being weighed down by the oversized coat.
